WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and improve the computer vision, machine learning, and AI systems that power blueprint analysis.
- Explore and apply current computer vision and large language model techniques to practical construction problems.
- Build initial prototypes quickly, then refine them using user feedback.
- Contribute pragmatically to early-stage product work beyond core model development when needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on applied computer vision and machine learning experience, including Python and deep learning.
- Experience taking an AI system from an early concept through production deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and comfort working through ambiguous, practical challenges.
- Clear, empathetic communication and willingness to be candid about results.
- Interest in improving housing affordability and construction workflows.
- Construction or social-impact experience, or having built a product adopted or paid for by users, is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work full-time on-site in San Francisco, or relocate.
