WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the ClickHouse warehouse schema, ingestion, backfills, and performance.
- Build and operate tested, monitored Python pipelines from databases, billing systems, collaboration tools, and advertising platforms, including recovery and data verification.
- Manage conversion tracking and attribution data, including server-side events and the transfer of lifetime gross profit data to advertising platforms.
- Build and maintain BI dashboards for growth, finance, support, and product teams.
- Analyze retention cohorts, unit economics, channel attribution, churn, and pricing impact, and proactively share findings.
- Set up monitoring and alerts for important data and business metric changes.
- Work with leadership to scope and prioritize analytics work, and challenge assumptions when needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Typically 2 to 10+ years of relevant experience, including ownership of production Python data pipelines.
- Experience with a columnar warehouse such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience building BI dashboards with Hex, Metabase, or Looker.
- Strong understanding of business metrics, including retention cohorts and unit economics.
- Familiarity with Stripe and SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, NDR, and LTV; experience supporting financial close is useful.
- Hands-on experience with conversion tracking and attribution, such as Meta Conversions API, Google Ads conversion imports, or server-side event pipelines.
