Member of Technical Staff - AI Product

We're looking to hire exceptionally swaggy product engineers to help build the world's coolest mutual friend from our studio in the heart of Mission, SF.

So far, AI has largely been a story of efficiency and doom. Eigen is a fast-growing group of artists, engineers, designers, and writers who believe in a different story. If you want to join us in our fight against entropy, we'd love to hear from you.

You might be a good fit if you:

- have made something people want

- care as much about how it feels as how it works

- like to own ambiguous problems end to end

- you're the coolest person in your friend group

Expect difficult problems, talented and interesting colleagues, and long nights. If selected, you'll receive a competitive salary (90th percentile), a generous equity grant, help obtaining work authorization in the US, as well as excellent health benefits.

Eigen is backed by $15M from Benchmark, Ben Silbermann, Gustav Söderström, and tastemakers from Atlantic Records, Warner, and CAA (Fortune https://fortune.com/2026/04/16/exclusive-eigen-seed-round-benchmark-capital-ben-silbermann-mutual-friend/, Dialectic Podcast https://newsletter.dialectic.fm/p/paul-scherer, Early Days https://earlydaysbymerlin.substack.com/p/meeting-eigen).
