Manager of Applied AI Architects (Digital Natives, EMEA)

Join Anthropic, a leading AI safety and research company, as the Manager of Applied AI Architects for the EMEA region. In this role, you will drive the adoption of frontier AI across Europe's fastest-growing technology companies, lead and grow a team of Applied AI Architects, and work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering. You will also represent Anthropic in the European tech community and stay current on AI/ML developments.

- A passion for making powerful technology safe and beneficial, with a habit of thinking beyond past checklists and playbooks - The ability to make ambiguous problems clear and find principles that carry across scenarios - Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and LLM evaluation, plus working knowledge of how large language models are built and operate - Deep technical proficiency with API integrations, production LLM use cases, and AI-powered system architecture - Enjoyment of building foundational teams in unstructured, fast-moving environments - A strong grasp of developer tooling, SDKs, and the integration patterns common in modern software companies - 3+ years of experience managing pre-sales or technical GTM teams, ideally across multiple EMEA markets - Familiarity with how European tech companies evaluate and procure technology, including security reviews, DPAs, and regulatory scrutiny - 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or in a similar pre-sales technical role - Experience selling to and working with digital-native companies, such as vertical or horizontal SaaS, consumer tech, fintech, PaaS, or developer platforms - Strong executive presence and the ability to build deep trust with CTOs, engineering leaders, and technical founders - Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skills - Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience - Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
