Data Scientist (Sales)

Join Wealthsimple, a leading financial technology company, as a Senior Data Scientist. In this role, you will support the entire Commercial team through data modeling, pipelining, dashboarding, experimentation, analyses, and machine learning models. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and have the opportunity to shape the direction of our Commercial team and AI Voice Agent program.

- 5+ years of experience in a data science/decision science (or equivalent), including time as the primary DS for a domain - Experience with applied statistics or experimentation (i.e. A/B testing) in an industry setting - Strong stakeholder management skills - an excellent communicator who is able to present results and analyses to senior leadership - Understanding of fundamental machine-learning algorithms and experience putting them into production in a real-world context - Good understanding of business practices, sales, and client behavior - Excellent SQL & Python skills - hands-on experience with data pipeline tools such as dbt and Airflow are an advantage - Experience in managing/mentoring team members in a formal or informal capacity
