AI Deployment Strategist Principal (FDE)

Join ServiceNow's Applied AI Forward Deployed Engineering team as a Principal AI Deployment Strategist. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ServiceNow's shift to AI-native technology, working directly with C-suite buyers to translate complex business problems into impactful solutions. You will own the global FDE portfolio and allocation strategy, run the investment thesis, and drive the executive narrative. This is a strategist-operator role that requires a deep understanding of AI, GTM, and strategic delivery.

- Own the global FDE portfolio and allocation strategy, working with regional leadership to calibrate where FDE delivers the most impact on revenue. - Run the investment thesis that positions the FDE team in the highest-conviction customer, product, and GTM moments, navigating competing priorities. - Treat every FDE engagement as an investment, approving only work tied to a clear strategic imperative or commercial outcome.

- The right person has lived across GTM, value technical value, and delivery, has the executive presence to hold a room with senior sales and product leadership - Operator-builders who've sat in seats across GTM, value engineering, and delivery and want all three at once - Comfortable being the strategist in a GTM planning session on Monday and the deployment tactician solving capacity trade-offs on Tuesday. No ego about scope; deep ego about outcomes - A track record of personally owning complex, multi-stakeholder GTM and deployment decisions with C-suite and senior executive partners. Ownership - not coordination - The judgment to know which deployment decision in the portfolio deserves your time this quarter, and the operating instinct to go solve it without waiting for a directive - 12+ years of experience spanning AI GTM, applied AI or technical solutioning, management consulting, or strategic delivery in a Fortune 500 environment - Demonstrated fluency in agentic AI, LLM-based systems, or applied AI builds. Enough technical depth to challenge scope, pressure-test architecture, and credibly engage customer and internal engineering leadership - A history of managing portfolios or programs that have scaled beyond your individual reach. Resource allocation decisions that moved the needle across a region or function - Experience designing and scaling commercial frameworks, capacity models, or strategic allocation constructs that have held up under CFO and procurement scrutiny
