Machine Learning Engineer (Gen SWE)

- Possess a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks, and be able to apply them to real-world problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features, and drive the roadmap for ML-powered features from problem definition through launch. - Design and implement distributed systems that span vehicles, cloud services, and rider apps, ensuring they handle intermittent and inconsistent connectivity well.

- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years of software engineering experience, including building and deploying ML models into production - Experience building backend distributed systems - Experience in autonomous vehicles or robotics - Track record of owning ambiguous, user-facing problems end-to-end and setting your own technical direction - Experience deploying models on-device or on edge hardware with compute and latency constraints - Experience in developing machine learning models, infrastructure, and pipelines - MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience - Experience with C++
